Brigade takes delivery of 3.4C Tanker (11/07/24)
This morning we ventured over to the CFA Workshops at Seymour to take delivery of our 3.4C tanker. Four members travelled over in Tanker 2 which will have its annual service done while the brigade completes the conversion training on the 3.4C.
CFA Bushfire Instructor Richard Cromb will provide a familiarisation training session tonight for the brigade. The 3.4C has B Class Foam which is a new skill set for Buxton.
Over the next week, each of the brigade drivers will complete conversion training in order to be endorsed on the larger appliance. We are looking forward to having two crewcab appliances in service at Buxton. We appreciate the assistance provided by Alexandra Fire Brigade to help prepare our members ahead of today.
