New Shelving in Workshop and BBQ (24/01/2024)
Thanks to the wonderful team at the Marysville Men's Shed, the brigade took delivery of our new seat for the gazebo and installed it this afternoon.
We are grateful to Bob McNamara for arranging for the construction and staining of the seat. We would like to thank everyone who helped make the combined table and seat unit.
We also need to acknowledge Lt Phil Ladson who provided the design and coordinated the works with Bob. The seat was off-loaded and bolted down by Phil and other brigade members.
The brigade funded the seat, including a donation to the Men's Shed, from general donation funds. The gazebo and the flagpoles were funded through a grant from Foundation Murrindindi which was auspiced by Buxton Progress Association. Another great joint project to enhance volunteerism in the Buxton community.
