Working Together – Safer Together @ Narbethong Burn 2 (17/02/2024)
Yesterday, we despatched our Tanker 1 with a crew of three members to assist Forest Fire Management Victoria conduct a planned burn in the vicinity of Martin Road and Kings Road in Marysville. It was a great opportunity for a couple of our newer members to understand how Planned Burns are conducted and to work alongside a crew from Marysville Fire Brigade - CFA.
Our thanks to CFA Vegetation Management Officer Angus Duckmanton for assisting with the necessary arrangements and to FFMV Operations Officer Ben Giovannetti who was the Burn Manager for the Marysville burn.
