Working Together – Safer Together @ Narbethong Burn (17/02/2024)
Yesterday, we despatched our Tanker 2 with a crew of three members to assist Forest Fire Management Victoria conduct a planned burn in the vicinity of Old Coach Road and Mayos Track in Narbethong. It was a great opportunity for a couple of our newer members to understand how Planned Burns are conducted.
Our thanks to CFA Vegetation Management Officer Angus Duckmanton for assisting with the necessary arrangements and to FFMV Operations Officer Tom Goldstraw who was the Burn Manager for the Narbethong burn.
