Juniors Learn to use Fire Extinguishers (04/09/24)

Six members of the Triangle Juniors spent last Wednesday evening learning how to use fire extinguishers. Following an explanation of the different classes of fire and the correct type of extinguisher to be used, a practical demonstration was conducted using the PASS technique: Pull, Aim, Squeeze and Sweep.

The Triangle CFA Junior Development Program is a joint initiative of the four brigades in the Triangle and is open to all young people aged 11 years old up to 16 years old. The Juniors meet fortnightly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm during school terms; dates are published in the Triangle News.
