More Breathing Apparatus Training (29/02/2024)
With a number of members now available for a Operate Breathing Apparatus course, we have continued with practical training for members.
Using our new workshop as a prop, a number of scenarios are given to the members in order to give them experience in handling hose while wearing the equipment.
Time is spent on reinforcing the proper procedure to don and start up the sets before starting the drills.
After completion of the drills, the sets are maintained and fresh cylinders put on the sets ready for use. The cylinders will be taken to our good friends at Bayswater Fire Brigade-CFA to be refilled.
