Breathing Apparatus Training continues (22/02/2024)
With thunderstorms looming in the distance and the occasional flash of lightning over the other side of the Black Range, we ventured out to do some more breathing apparatus training around the station tonight.
The CABA trainees tonight comprised a member from Buxton and a member from the Acheron brigade. The crews were set a scenario where a couple of rubbish bins were on fire at the rear of a commercial property. Tanker 2 had arrived first followed by Tanker 1 with the breathing apparatus crew.
Buxton trains every Thursday evening during daylight saving and fortnightly outside daylight savings. If you are new to the area, pop along to the station and say hello or email .
