CFA Service Award Presentations (20/04/2024)
CFA recognises a member’s service in one or more brigades, including service as a Junior member, with the award of a Certificate for not less than five years of efficient service followed by Service Medals for each subsequent five years of efficient service to the Authority.
A Certificate of Service is signed by the Assistant Chief Fire Officer for the District in which the member is currently a member at five years service.
CFA Service medals comprise an antique bronze medal, ribbon bar and lapel pin awarded after 10 years of service. For every subsequent five years of service, the award comprises the antique bronze medal complete with a ribbon bar showing number of years served. Similarly, the lapel pin displays the number of years served. Each increment has a distinct colour.
This evening, at our 80th anniversary dinner, Commander Justin Dally presented the CFA service awards accompanied by Captain Paul Denham AFSM.
