What goes Up - Must come Down (13/01/2022)

This evening members of the fire brigade, Buxton Progress Association, and Buxton Reserves Committee gathered at the main reserve to take down the Community Christmas Decorations and, once again, store them at the Buxton Memorial Hall. This included the Christmas Tree on the Marysville Road hill. The decorations at the hall were taken in by Willie and Peter earlier in the week due to being unavailable tonight.

Thanks to all those who contributed their time, despite the saga of covid, to put them up back in early December (ready for the annual Community Christmas Party) and take them down this evening. It is always a delight to see people checking out the decorations and taking pictures standing beside or in front of them.

This evening involved Graham, Isaac, John, Will, Liz, Illene, Peter, Andy, and Paul. Phil, Elaine and Robbert were there in spirit.
