Alexandra Truck, Ute & Rod Show (12/06/2022)

Today, we are at the Alexandra Truck Ute and Rod Show as part of the emergency services display. This year the display is on the corner of Downey Street and Grant Street.

If you are in the area, come into Alexandra and check out all the rigs, rods, and utes on display. While your here, take the time to visit the emergency services display and talk to people from CFA, SES, Ambulance, Police, and Forest Fire Management Victoria. There are activities for young people and a wealth of information about the emergency services to investigate and discuss.

All of the volunteer fire brigades in the Alexandra Group of Fire Brigades are looking for new operational members. If you are someone who lives in the area or has a recreational property we are keen to connect with you. You don't have to be a permanent resident to join a CFA brigade; provided you are reasonably available you can become a firefighter regardless of where you actually live. Each brigade has slightly different needs, so come down and have a chat.

All Washed and Ready to Roll (11/06/2022)

Tanker 2 has been given a good tubs ahead of heading up to Alexandra Fire Station in preparation of the Alexandra Truck Ute and Rod Show tomorrow. She will spend tonight in the hands of the team at Alexandra, who will move her to the main street early in the morning. Buxton members will assist with the emergency services display during the day.

If you are someone who has a property in the Triangle area, work in the Triangle, or regularly spend time here we are keen to talk to you about getting involved in one of our local volunteer brigades. Pop down to the display tomorrow and have a chat to someone.
