Donations
Online donations can be made via CFA & Brigades Donations Fund.
In the donations portal, when progressing to the second page, there is the option to nominate a brigade/group (default is generically CFA as a whole): select Buxton Fire Brigade.
Buxton Recycling Project (was Crush a Can)
That's right! As of April 2024, the highly successful Crush a Can program has been broadened into the Victorian Container Deposit Scheme.
Buxton Fire Station is still the community collection point, but please, now, do not crush the cans; drop them in unflattened.
Buxton 3711 Community – Donation Fund
Managed by Buxton Progress Association in consultation with local community groups and businesses – see recycling.buxtonprogress.org.au.
The funds are used to benefit the Buxton Community with a view of assisting local community groups such as the Buxton Memorial Hall, Buxton Open Spaces Committee, Buxton Fire Brigade and Buxton Primary School.
